He did it because he was clearly upset with his GF getting vio'd because he had no action towards any of the rules broken in the game. But after Wetzel got a vio he made sure to go find where caro ogi'd and report that. That is Bias and its blatant and it upsets me
If mods feel like combing through games anyway, let them do it. You shouldn't be breaking rules anyway, maybe that will stop it from happening if you have someone on your **** all the time.

that's literally what i said from the beginning, it's a shame calvin was A. in the game encouraging the spamming and trolling B. doesn't give the obvious GRS vio he witnessed. C. reports me for OGI cause i threatened to sui BC OF THE TROLLING (which* is why that poor guy sui'd and i dont blame him)

Look it this way:
You give someone a violation, there is one upset person.
You don't give someone a violation, they do it again, there are now 7 or 8 upset people.
I have no sympathy for rulebreakers, and a lot of sympathy for people who suffer because of rulebreakers. The latter people are the ones who deserve to not get upset.
I didn't want to say it because its something else that is FREAKING COMMON SENSE, but don't go through games looking to vio someone, BUT if you sit there and see it happen, give the freaking vio. Oh my god...

Mods used to avoid doing reports from/on people they know they're biased (in favour of, or against). And if they didn't, then I'd tell them to avoid it after the first time it became an obvious problem.

I'M NOT ASKING MODS TO GO THROUGH GAMES AND LOOK FOR RULE BREAKING BUT IF A MOD IS IN A GAME WHERE A RULE HAS CLEARLY BEEN BROKEN, THEY SHOULD GIVE THE DESERVING VIOLATION. IT'S NOT THAT HARD
How do you suppose they handle people being biased. The only true bias I have seen was Calvin filing a report just because he was upset his GF got a vio. Thats really the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way
Are you serious right now? You let people break rules and in turn make the site even more unbearable by letting them get away with it because you don't want to get them in trouble? Why were you even a mod? This is the first time I've actually been made as a result of the EM forums.

Whereas I prefer to punish & warn people after their first case of rulebreaking so they're less likely to do it again and ruin another game, or upset another 7/8 players.
I don't think I ever made it a "thing", I just didn't like doing it. When mods go through games to report one person for rule breaking and not another, it looks bad. I'm just an avoidant person so I don't like going out of my way to get people in trouble.

I hate to agree with justrec but just when did this become a thing? I always used to file reports & give violations for rulebreaking I saw in games other than what had been reported, because the rules are there for a reason.
This shouldn't even be a discussion. If all you can say is 'oh well' to people who give vios to their enemy and not people they are friends with because it's human nature, there is something wrong with you.
The reason this site is the way it is now is because the common thing that we let people do is whatever they freaking want. "Oh well. It happens. Let him be rude. Let him be a jerk. Let him be biased. Let him let his friend take over his mod account. Let him leak internal mod stuff to his friends." This and more is all very, very wrong. I'm not trying to he annoying, a pest, or even a "hero" (which someone recently very weirdly accused me of trying to be)., I'm just telling it how it is.
