i liked the "bland" setups

in fact they were great for new players

of course, but as you say it's just a matter of fitting within very specific limitations. I'm just speaking more in general and just the way the role is used (if it is at all).

vig isn't swingy if certain demands are met. it's just those demands are very limiting when it comes to setup building

those demands being dawn start (force vig to scumhunt before shooting) and a scenario in which shooting would actually benefit town, for example, the gain of/act as mislynch, which requires a "MYLO" start or a large game to accommodate multiple shots OR corresponding roles that are affected differently by shots than they are lynches, for example bulletproof
