Epicmafia has always been like this. Most of the 2011 era veterans (circlejerkers) were between the ages of 17 and 20 when most of the drama occurred and barely any of us got along. We actually thrived during this period. The site was at its peak because it had a late 90's "WWF soap opera" feel every time you logged in. This was the most populated Epicmafia would ever be and it came during a time when the user-base is commonly considered to have been at its worst.

Promoting self-awareness isn't necessarily a bad thing.
doesnt mean u have to get urself riled up over a stupid thing like this... like what do u get from arguing with him? just let people say what they want who cares...

and also, the site is in fact dying. it's still better off with a merged lobby, but the process is still ongoing regardless. i'm just being honest, perhaps brutally so, but the reality is that the days and hours of a well-populated EM experience are numbered.
if you circlejerkers were busy trying to get new people on the site like i do, maybe things would be different. but instead, you're busy dawdling and complaining about the newbies. and sadly, that is a trend you have been setting for over 4 years now, much like angsty teenagers looking for some solace with other angsty, similarly distressed teenagers. but hey, at least you formed a clique while it lasted. no matter if you destroy the platform that your group was founded upon, right?
