since you're on windows 8 you can attempt to use litestep but i wouldn't recommend as it was really unstable

your best bet is rainmeter at this point even if it takes up a lot of RAM and doesn't look as good as bblean imo

i'm using classic shell for windows 8 because frick the app menu lol. the start bar takes a long time to load so i should really uninstall it

the alternative is litestep but basically windows 8.1 is garbage and can't even use that functionally
