Put your taskbar on the bottom, put all icons that you use in that. Put that 'Pictures' folder on the desktop into your Docs folder(which has an icon on the taskbar already, wtf) so you don't look like an idiot who doesn't know how to use file systems. Delete McAfee. Get a wallpaper that doesn't have a huge, ugly artist credit across it. Change your taskbar translucency and colour to something that actually suits your wallpaper(in this case blue or black).

Like actually, why the hell do you have Gyazo and Chrome on your taskbar, but also on your desktop.

After you've done all that, right click and find the option that lets you hide desktop icons so you can just have your beautiful wallpaper and nothing else.

Yeh I never actually have get to see my desktop thread, I close Chrome once a month, so I don't care at all. Plus it works for me.

Also McAfee is undownloaded the shortcut is still there tho

and the left side taskbar will remain forever, I like being able to use the bottom of my screen instead of the left. More room for me.

It's personal preference dude. anyways

See, the idea is that negative space is used for icons. Got no negative space? Don't use icons. Why would you have a lovely picture with icons covering it?
