People shouldn't rely on statistics that much. A truly "balanced" setup, with a high level of play, will be slightly scumsided. Why? Bad players bring down town win rate at a faster rate than they do mafia win rate. This is because for town, one person voting wrong is all it takes to lose, but for mafia a partner being obvious will mean nothing if the other mafia are good. At least from my experience, it is just easier for a bad player to ruin a town game than a mafia game.

I mean, classic mafia is almost balanced and that's a town point farm. VDLI is townsided if you play with good players. That's why I don't like balanced setups that much, scumsides is where it's at
