be me working at restaurant . mean old couple comes in, there is a 30 min wait for a table. i tell them. man insists that they sit down at one of our non serviced tables and i give them drinks. i say no sir you must sit at the bar if youre only getting drink. he says ok. i go and fill some waters, see man and wife sitting at forbidden tbale with drinks. me confused hostess walk over and ask if they were seated by a server ? man stanps up, grabs wife and storm out without paying for drinks. kill all old fancy vegetarians

i usually overtip, i tip around 25%-50% because i only go out when i have an extreme excess of money at the time (it usually doesn't last long for this very reason). so when i get bad service, i tip the average 15%, which is low for me, but average for most people.
