Hey Lucid,

Would you ever consider making a mahjong game using Hong Kong rules?

I for one would definitely enjoy this, not sure how universal the appeal would be though.

I like mahjong, do you?

it's fun but there's too many variants and not enough people who play the same variant of mahjong which makes it difficult imo

Only way around that is to put a point minimum (how many points you get for your hand) and force you to play for better hands.

I don't know but Mahjong feels like the kinda game where it's only fun with money involved.

It's better than Hold 'em since you aren't actively betting in mahjong, but you definitely don't have the incentive to go for better hands in computer, non-money mahjong, and instead just play to win with a crap hand.

Thanks Melody, you are too kind. I've been itching to play lately, but computer opponents aren't much fun.

Computer opponent mahjong sucks. Tbh, if he made it I'd probably play it even though I don't like it just cuz friends.

I don't, but if Bront does, by all means make it if possible!
