the lips. That is what determines whether the portrait will look like the original person or not. If you get the lips right, you will get a good portrait. rest is just a work around it. anybody who can get the lips part right can make a good portrait. just notice the light intensity in each part of the face. shade it accordingly. not hard at all.

Yeah, but that would destroy it, as it's a huge *** picture and in such a little image, with graphite on paper, it wouldn't be good enough. Can you redo it on simple white sheet with black? Like is a silhouette?
