and if i remember correctly the owner of the store who michael brown allegedly shoplifted from said that the crime never was committed. either way, even if it had, it was a candy store, and the most he could have stolen was a few dollars worth of merchandise. he approached the police, unarmed, with hands up. the cop's actions were not justified at all
a bad cop is a big deal because his job is supposed to be to serve the community. everyone knows criminals do criminal things and that there will always be criminals. we are supposed to be able to trust police.
i was informed of it by a federal officer, who is also bound by those rules.
as far as the details of the situation goes, there is so much conflicting information that it becomes obvious that most of the information available is someones propaganda. regardless, if the entrance wounds were in the back its called murder
I dont see any photos in that link, I must be missing something. I read the tweets, they don't mesh with the autopsy information from the new York times unless he was running backwards or sideways to the officer.

I don't think we know anything about what the teenager, nor the cop, was doing. Many witnesses have already been proved wrong. Something I do ''know'', at least, has been reported by hospital/police force, was that the cop was taken to the hospital after 'a struggle' and had a swollen face. If the man attacked the cop (of course we haven't confirmed this completely), it may be perhaps at least understandable that the cop fought back. I think anyone can hope that 6 bullets wasn't necessary! I don't think we know yet the whole circumstance. and the boy definitely wasn't fleeing if he was shot from the front, just fyi. And I doubt he was showing surrender if it does turn out that he attacked the cop, but nothing is proven yet. I am waiting to decide my stance. these things can change so quickly as new data surfaces.
