that last post was regarding the original rebuttal. do i think the universe is infinite? yes, because in the space sense everything is in the universe, and it makes sense for the universe to not be a sphere like it's natural to try to comprehend it as, but rather as a doughnut shape which loops around in every direction, but this doughnut also connects regarding latitude as well as longitude, where the extra dimension idea comes in. for something to not be infinite there has to be a place where it is not, and there is no place where the universe isn't since anywhere that is a place is by definition within the universe. regarding the universe being infinite in the time sense, the same logic applies, but instead of the sphere needing to be turned into a doughnut the left to right view of time has to be turned into more of a single uncomprehendable happening

who cares, as long as the universe has more dimensions than us it's impossible to argue that we can experience the universe as it truly is. the only way we can experience it is through three dimensional simulations representing its reality. there is no proof that time travels from a left, e.g. five minutes ago, to a right, e.g. 5 minutes in the future. the only reason it feels like there is is because it is natural to assume that the way you perceive things is accurate. that's why the original statement that life is temporary is nonsensical, temporariness is an attribute that can't be assigned to anything since it assumes the left to right time simulation

the way we perceive the world is filtered, things go from the real universe through a filter e.g. our eyes into our brain. our brain categorises it and interprets it into something you can make sense of. everything we sense can feel like it's exterior, but really we are only experiencing ourselves. you can't experience the real universe, only the stuff inside your head on a one dimensional screen of your conciousness. we are three dimensional beings in a four dimensional universe with an existence we can't begin to comprehend because we are limited to seeing it from the perspective of someone inside the universe. the first three dimensions of things that exist are their place and shape, the fourth is time. we perceive things as having an order, but as we are limited to seeing the universe after being categorised by our three dimensional brains into a series of images. ;)
