Satan Peta Yeah there's a very strong moral case for choosing adoption over procreation but I'll probably ignore it I don't think the human species should necessarily be phased out but the human population needs to decrease. Hence adoption being good. I'm also a big fan of eugenics and infanticide but you can't say that in public without people jumping down your throat before you get the chance to lay out your arguments. Also I'm too lazy to lay out my arguments. Peter Singer says it all anyway w.r.t. infanticide.

Interesting. What would be interesting to see is whether sexual offences were reduced with the increase of vasectomies (whether the 'biological urge' to have intercourse would be reduced) - some claim that many offenders of this type 'can't help it' and have diagnosable conditions where the urge (either for intercourse or reproduction) overwhelms the concious mind (and our knowledge of right and wrong).
Have there been any studies/research done in populations where this is a thing? I'd love to see the crime rates as well as other things.
