If this were the case, we'd cease to use any medicines or medical treatment. Natural selection would have probably killed you by now but for this treatment. So unless we abandon the use of drugs and life-prolonging surgery, natural selection alone won't cut it.
There have to be controls put in place for human population at some point anyway because human exploitation of resources is already considered to be at a rate which is unsustainable in the long term.
Oh, I imagined them leaving the surgery room with a cheque. I didn't know you could compensate retrospectively.
There's definitely arguments to be made for compulsory sterilization of convicted sex offenders (regardless of the offence) if it means they won't repeat offend (which is often the case).
pretty sure a few states passed laws forcing sexual deviants and sexual offenders to be sterilized, although it was seldom used and they recently gave money to the victims as an apology???
sorry i meant money was given to the victims of forced sterilization (aka the sexual deviants/offenders)
Oh so they compensated the men who they sterilized? Sounds a bit illogical.
well since the law no longer supported forced sterilizations, they had to compensate them. (i guess?) idk
during ejaculation sperm and semen are mixed, a vasectomy makes it so sperm is not released, so semen is the only thing being released (iirc) who knows. but REGARDLESS let's just all be sterilized!

If your testicles are chopped off then where are you supposed to produce testosterone
So in theory then, erections would be impossible and humanity would cease to engage in intercourse at all.
Not sounding so great now.
vasectomies don't result in the complete removal of testicles, it's just a snip so sperm is no longer released during ejaculation!
I'm certainly not an authority in the biological mechanics of the male reproductive organ (darn censor), but I was unaware that ejaculation was possible with the removal of sperm and/or testosterone. I learn something new everyday.

I know victims of non-consensual intercourse in the UK get 'compensatory damages' where they've reported the offence (usually as a goodwill thanks for turning up to court) - I know of someone who received £13,000 for getting her attacker successfully convicted.
I know chemical sterilization is a thing in some places, but I've found it difficult to find any crime statistics in those places. Moreover, it's also hard to distinguish between the 'causes' of abstinence/reformation of the offender therein - did he stop committing the sexual offences because of the castration or because of other reasons (time spent in prison or psychological 'cures' for example)?

why would you even allow such a ridiculous claim the weight required to be gratified research
It's not about weight of the argument, I'd just be interested to see the statistics for sexually-motived crimes where the population is virtually testosterone-free.
