Considering I got a PM from him while this was happening that said "lol you got owned" I'm inclined to think it's him. I had a chat with him and rednose in a game earlier and he told me it wasn't him.

That explains nothing though, anyone could observe something and give their two cents. Why would he try so hard in that chat to say it wasn't him?

i don't really think it matters which banned user it is because they're banned in the first place, so i don't know what you're trying to do here

If it's a different banned user, then someone else could be involved which could give us a better lead to if anyone on the mod team was responsible (which I still highly doubt unless it was through a sketchy PM)

Supposedly from my understanding though, there's a way to get mod powers without being a mod. It's also possible someone figured out a way to do this without hacking into any mod accounts or getting a password.

The sketchy PM we received wasn't opened by any of its recipients until after reports started getting deleted apparently, which is why what I proposed in the above paragraph could be what had happened.

Giving your own account keys, assuming it's even possible to do with a non-mod account, wouldn't let someone delete reports. There's no key for that, so it's simply based upon the mod status of an account.

Not implying any mods did this at at all. Abc is the easiest person to scapegoat. It's stupid to pin him as the culprit without any confirmation.

didn't you say that mods received a sketchy pm? that could have made him a mod/given him hidden keys or something who knows

true, he sent weird pms awhile ago that cleared peoples profiles. makes sense he could give himself keys

Things should be mostly normal now, 5 hours later.
