WALRUS PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING REQUEST: PERMANENTLY BAN WALRUS, OR OVERTURN HIS TROLLING VIOLATION.

SUMMARY:
I. "BEING ANNOYING" IS NOT A VALID REASON TO GIVE SOMEONE A VIOLATION (AS OUTLINED BY SEVERAL OTHER MODS AND THE RULES).

II. HAZE GAVE WALRUS A TROLLING VIOLATION, CITING THAT HE WAS "BEING ANNOYING", IGNORING WALRUS' EXPLANATION OF EVENTS. THIS WAS MOST LIKELY OUT OF SPITE, LOTS OF PEOPLE DON'T LIKE WALRUS.

III. ANTIKRIST, WITHOUT REVIEWING THE GAME OR WALRUS' APPEAL EXPLANATIONS, AUTOMATICALLY UPHOLDS HAZE'S VIOLATION.

REASONS WHY THE MOD TEAM SHOULD ACT:
IV. WALRUS HAD BEEN REPORTED FOR PLAYING MAFIA IN CAPSLOCK BEFORE AND GENERALLY "BEING ANNOYING". IF THIS TROLLING VIOLATION IS TO BE UPHELD, THEN ALL THE OTHER NO VIO'S WALRUS RECEIVED SHOULD TURN TO VIO'S AND THEREFORE BE A PERMANENT BAN.

V. WALRUS LITERALLY HAS 0 INTENTION OF CHANGING THE WAY WALRUS PLAYS THE GAME. IF THE INTENT OF THE RULES IS TO CURB UNDESERVED BEHAVIOR, AND THE USER IN QUESTION HAS NO INTENTION OF CHANGING THEIR BEHAVIOR, THEN THEY SHOULD BE BANNED. WALRUS IS CLEARLY STATING THAT HE WILL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, CHANGE THE WAY HE PLAYS.

VI. THE USER WHO REPORTED WALRUS DOESN'T EVEN REMEMBER DOING IT.

VII. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLEAR STANDARD SET AND ENFORCED. PREVIOUSLY, THE STANDARD WAS THAT EVEN IF WALRUS IS ANNOYING, HE IS NOT TROLLING. IF THIS VIOLATION IS TO STAND, THEN IT MEANS THAT BEING ANNOYING (A SUBJECTIVE TERM IN AND OF ITSELF) = TROLLING. EITHER WAY, THE STANDARD NEEDS TO BE ENFORCED.

VIII. NOBODY ELSE SEEMED TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE WAY WALRUS PLAYS, HENCE LACK OF REPORTS.

IX. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR THE MOD TEAM TO SHOW THAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY COMPETENT.

TLDR; PRECEDENTS AND STANDARDS NEED TO BE UPHELD. WALRUS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TOLERATE THIS MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE ANY LONGER.

The second thing said was "Give a legitimate response" and I don't see one. Why not? Respect the user base plox.
Also that fifth point about not changing is pretty key. If someone isn't following the rules, through harassment or something, they'd be banned if they never changed. If this is genuinely a violation, then ban, and if it isn't, remove the vio?

EXACTLY. ALSO I'VE POSTED LIKE 3 OF THESE, AND GOTTEN ABOUT ~30 TO 40 MOD RESPONSES. ALL OF THEM WERE JUST TRASH TALKING/STRAIGHT INSULTS BY THE MODERATOR WHO WAS POSTING, AND DIDN'T EVEN ADDRESS A SINGLE THING OUTLINED IN THE ENTIRE POST.
