"i hate cheaters which is why i'm going to throw against them by playing against my own win condition" you own xxerox. i think you just took the title of "most backwards logic" from pranay. kudos to you

xxerox. built himself the image of moronic, yet harmless forum nuisance. deep down, however, he is the evil mastermind behind these vicious cyber attacks...
aren't we missing the point here? xxerox doesn't have friends

Well okay, if there's actually a good number of people that missed the opportunity to join earlier and hop in late and there isn't an identifiable trend between joining late and being at the least accused of throwing then I don't see an issue with it.
My main argument above was under the assumption that the number of people joining that late was down to a very insignificant small amount in which would make locking pretty non-issue to begin with.
xxerox and his rowdy friends are ready, for monday night football

Honestly I would lock people out from being able to join after someone reaches some arbitrary amount of points though like 1k or 1.5k
Not because of cheaters alone but because realistically someone joining that late probably isn't actually invested in playing to win and could potentially sh*t on someone else's work to run.
How many people join the round with 2-3 days to go are legitimate users who aren't abysmally terrible and will really mind if they have to wait 5 days to play next round?
Honestly it seems witch hunty to lock the round after X points but it realistically isn't actually hurting anyone with good intentions
More like " We do not have proof. Without a proof we can't do anything even if they are reported again and again and are obviously cheating.... but we just cant prove it"
A Monday night party Hey, this is "Rocking" Randall Hank Ready to get the good time started We got the teams on the field And we turned down the lights All my rowdy friends are back for Monday night
D8 of the competition, no one cheated, because all cheaters have been banned because i said so. Everyone are happy. Forum trolls are muted if they troll on relevant topics. Moderators are kept under control
There are some majour changes to the site that everyone hate, but they prove so usefull, no one has the guts to complain. Ideas that seem like they gonna fail, are imediately discarded before any majour consequences.
Moderators who are kept remoding even if they up before are not moded.
Everything look the same on the outside, but on the inside everyone are happy :3
Right now I'm imagining a world in which we listen to xxerox.
It's day 13 of the current round, the top 3 competitors are hovering around 1900, all with 10 gold hearts.
In the lobby, a sea of red heart games, with a single gold heart game tucked away on page four, where we have about three players idle, waiting for some of the other 10 players who joined at the start of the round but didn't get bored halfway through.
