Hovering over the box of village roles, you'll notice 2 roles at the bottom that share the same icon. These roles are the Taxman and the Wench. However, going to the role pages, you'll notice that the Wench and Taxman don't share icons:
In two games we've played using this setup, two people have gotten Wench as their role. However, on the side listing of the players their role would be listed as anonymous. This was particularly vexing since the Wench doesn't have a night meeting. Furthermore, at the top of the game where the roles were listed, the Wench was listed with the Confused Cop icon.
Be that as it may, I figure that I might as well keep track of the bugs I encounter surrounding these roles, so if the roles are ever adopted as official or the custom role feature is worked on, the mods will have a small pool of resource.
Here's another problem with a role I had commissioned. The Golbolco role by numberfour is programmed to win if they survive, but in a game we played the game did not end despite only town and the Golbolco being left. It only ended when Golbolco was lynched.
This is just too much. On day 1 of a game we played, LastProphet was shot. Their icon was anonymous, signifying that they were either Wench or Taxman, but their death message was "LastProphet, the golbolco,, was hostkilled."
And here's a test game with the Wench: The wench's coding works as I was silenced after visiting them, but again, the icon is broken. This means that the Wench and Taxman work fine when they're in separate games (other than the icon trouble) but not in the same game.
So I made a test setup to try and see what's wrong with the roles. This setup only used Taxman, no Wench. Here, Taxman's meeting worked, but the icon was still anonymous.
Another thing I've noticed, when you click on the anonymous role next to someone's name to set them a role you think they are, when you select Wench (there's no Taxman option) it just changes to an anonymous role icon.
