Why mods suck

I got reported for censor bypassing the r-word (not the one about mental incapabilities. The type of sexual assault.)

I used it objectively and not in an insulting form.

Yet 7 other people were reported for doing the same exact thing, and they were all NV'd.

Why are mods such trash?

That's a IC vio, not an HC vio.

That was not in the midst of a discussion, he said it out of nowhere on the sandbox lobby wall.

He said it intending to be edgy and upset people because that's basically his entire existence as far as I can tell. Hence; inappropriate.



I'm not sure how many times I have to explain to mist that I didn't "randomly" bring up the topic. Literally it was already brought up in chatbox, and someone else asked the question SPECIFICALLY REGARDING THAT.

no, sustaining it is not a different matter. it is agreeing with the decision made. doing so is the ENTIRE POINT OF AN APPEAL.

there is no 'short stick' here when two mods agree that it was IC. what you think of it is different as well, rather than stating only ONE would have made the decision.

sustaining a vio brings more discussion and the word is close enough where if discussion was brought upon it, it can most likely deemed ic.

however, i believe the way in which terry used it, most people would've likely given him a no vio on first shot

also, when you're appealing a vio, theres always a first ruling you have to fight against...

and yes, and just because it's more discussion does not mean it's not an actual report within itself. it can either agree with the original report, or overthrow it
