The following is a draft. I would like moderator/admin help on rules for comped setups please if possible.

Competitions: How They Work

• If your account has earned 1500 points in the Main Lobby, clicking the "Join Competition" button in the Round tab or the Lobby tab enables you to play in gold heart (competitive) games and compete for trophies (also widely referred to as "trophy running").
• Five (5) gold hearts are given to each account in the competition per day, with a maximum of ten (10) allowed at one time. Gold hearts (like red hearts) are given out at Midnight (EST) every day.
• Every time you win a gold heart game, the points that you earn from your win (not including featured setup and happy hour bonuses) go towards your competitive round score. Your score can be seen in the Lobby tab above the games list, beside the number of gold and red hearts you have. If you are in the top 28 for the Round, you will also be able to see your score on the leaderboard in the Round tab.
• You may compete for a trophy on as many eligible accounts as you like, but you may only win ONE trophy every TWO rounds over ALL of your accounts.
• Only certain setups may be played with gold hearts. These setups (there are usually six of them) change every round, and can be found in the Round tab.
• Each round ends on the day somebody reaches 2000 points. At 11:59:59 PM on that day, trophies are awarded to the top three players on the leaderboard (gold for first, silver for second, and bronze for third). The next day is an off-day meant for the trophy winners to choose their setups that will be played in the next round. They have until midnight of the next day to choose their two setups, otherwise moderators will pick their setups for them.
• Trophies are viewable on your profile for others to see forever!
• If you win a trophy, you get to choose two (2) setups to make competitive for the next round. You can choose a competitive setup by entering the number (just the number) of your desired setup in the box in the Round tab. You get to do this twice. There are rules for setups being made competitive. They are all listed below:

Rules for Competitive Setups:

• A setup may not be comped more than once every three rounds unless it has received less than 20 plays in competitive games during the course of the round it was comped in.
• A setup may not have more than three alignments in it.
• The point payouts and the setup itself must be balanced. 58/42 for mafia after 50 plays warrants a decomping. 57/43 for town after 50 plays warrants a decomping.

This thread should be viewable for everyone and too many times questions about the round are asked; an official thread with all information about competitions is nice.
