The Acolyte is the living example of Cthulhu's teachings. As he travels from town to town he spreads the word of Cthulhu and with it, insanity.
The goal of the Acolyte is to drive all people to insanity in hopes of gaining power from his teacher.
He wins if he survives.

and since his win condition is to survive any fool win will guarantee him a victory as well.
