Thats the thing, you would want to pick some1 you trust or a clear but then that person can't do the night actions. i think it would make games more interesting. They could die during the night as well.

The fact is that foes can't be active at night, so it's kind of pseudo-jailer. The key thing seems that you should make dinner with someone you can trust and someone with you want to know his role, so cop/vig/doc with some stranger, to ask and know the true role of the dinnermate, so you can tell afterwards, but that would make their role obsolete by doing no night actions. It can be good for some villager setups. Also the conversation with eachother can be little awkward. Still +1 from me.
