Basically if someone is infected and that night the Doctor is on them, they will be cured from the infection.
If a Zombie tries to infect a Doctor than the Zombie will die instead.
If a Doctor tries to save a Zombie, the Zombie will die.

Okay that is true, I am thinking that the Alpha Zombie mechanic can throw things into a daze. Perhaps the Zombie role's first layout is better because it is simple and to the point. Once all zombies are dead though should the infection be allowed to continue.

Here is an example: Say I am a zombie and infect Jeff, the town lynches me that night, but Jeff remains infected. Should his infection be allowed to turn him into a Zombie or should he just revert back to his old healthy self.

That's how it is Natstar, once the Alpha Zombie dies the other zombies can no longer infect people and must just try to survive till the end and outnumber the village.
Also the reason Zombies can't turn back into blues is because once they are a zombie they will know who the other zombies are thus once a doctor doc's one they can just out who the past zombies were.
