Witchdoctor
  • ============================
  • -Once per game, the witchdoctor can reanimate a villager from the graveyard for a day.
  • -When a witchdoctor is in the game, all night actions and village meeting conversations are hidden from those in the graveyard.
  • -Witchdoctors cannot revive other witchdoctors.
  • -Sided with the village.
  • ============================
  • I'm still debating whether or not the daytime conversations should be hidden, and whether or not the reanimation should have a time limit. I like the concept of introducing a role that can revive the dead, but I don't want for it to become gamebreaking. Let me know if there's anything I should do to balance it out. :)

Nice idea, but as someone said, the problem with this role (and similar suggested roles like Medium) is it only works if everyone stays in the graveyard if they die.

briipod has a fantastic point.
Also, ONLY a villager?
As in, in a no reveal setup, the witchdoctor would know which roles of the dead were villagers just by the drop down menu?

dude.. I had the idea of a healer that could heal the dead.. that one would be Messiah.... " anyway.. I like it but I think it should be mafia sided.. and make a Messiah for the town. .. but with Messiah.. he can even make a mafia into a town member.

Only being able to vote might make it easier to code than hiding night actions and village chat... Though at the same time, if the reanimated player had a report worth sharing (like a watcher who watched himself/herself), then it might be worth letting the reanimated player be able to speak. It could have cthulhu'd speech or something if that makes it any better.

i think the revived person should only be able to vote. The problem is that almost no one waits in sandbox lobby when they are dead. the person might leave before you reanimate them.
