Scarlet: Yeah, that is a valid point I've thought about, but I think it isn't up to us to speculate about coding. If Lucid can't do it, he won't do it. Maybe he'll want the challenge, or maybe programming it isn't as hard as would appear.

I rated up your Editor role.

My problem with that is that how can you tell which lines are edited and which are not? Also, this might actually break the ACTUAL chat coding of the game. Touching that stuff might be taboo here. I like the idea, but the execution of it may be too over the top. I'm gonna withold my vote for this.

Here is my sales pitch: looking at a lot of the suggested roles, they are usually one of the following -
1. Extremely complicated roles that require paragraphs to explain and often completely distort the game of mafia.
2. Extremely simplistic power roles or mafia equivalents that give strong information.

Personally, I like roles that are simple in concept, but complex in possible strategy. I like roles that can be useful but aren't automatically useful regardless of skill (e.g. not detective). And I think roles like this appeal to a larger base of players than over-the-top roles like zombies.

Also, suggestions are welcome for the 1 minute / 10 edit aspects. I think those are good numbers to prevent some abuses (i.e. editing current conversations before people can read them and preventing flat out deletion of entire days of information), but if anyone has any better ideas those numbers can be changed.
