This role is off to a good start but needs some tweaks. While I am thinking about it what if said player is chosen to attend dinner and Jail. I think Jailer should be able to override food poisoner's ability to send someone to dinner and that person should be taken to jail instead. Or both people should be taken to jail with the jailer, and when this happens the jailer meeting is like a day after the lightkeeper has been killed, So the jailer doesn't know who is the food poisner. Either way there needs to be some rule about when this happens and I think Jailer should override food poisoner if they were to choose the same person.
Also I think food poisoner should be allowed to choose no one if they wish.

maybe make it so that if the person didn't poison the food, and the person eats it, it makes them immune from lynching, but if it's poisoned, they will die as you said. idk, just thinking out loud. with tweaks this role will be great!

He doesn't know who other mafia is so he might get a mafian and then not wanna kill him.

So, the Food Poisoner would allow the Mafia to kill an extra person each night? And only be preventable by Doc? Would being taken to dinner prevent night actions, like being Jailed? I can't think of any reason for the Poisoner to not poison the food.

Plus then that gives mafia a chance to, say, kill the cop while the doc is on the person healing them. This role opens a lot of opportunity's

@Lynchgod, well thats the whole point, people could "fake-claim" a foodpoisoning in order to render the doc useless. If you think about it, it opens up a lot of strategic options and gives the town more "clues" to discuss around.

1. Consult, not "Cunsuly"
2. Consult means reccomend or give advice not talk.
3. The person, the day after, can say, i got posoned and the doctor can heal him.

So, the person sent to dinner can always choose to not eat. What then?

The idea that someone might "out their role and ruin the game" can happen with any role. A jailer could easily out himself with any roles hes learned during his meeting with someone else, and he could also do it during the day. Does it make any sense to take away the jailer's meeting, or to take day phase away? Should we just stop implementing features for the slightest possibility that someone might misuse the role's ability for trolling purposes.

TL:DR the idea we should not put features in the game because of something that could have happened already is pretty stupid

But I don't like the idea anyways, no one would bother talking to a confirmed mafia. Its not the same as talking to a confirmed town.

I like this idea zay, only thing I have to say is, I'd prefer it if the Food Poisoner wasn't in the maf meeting. Would make it more fun imo.

Thanks. He does attend the mafia meetings so him and say the stalker would be a great combo. And he does not talk to the person he seats just in case there's a troll that ruins the game and outs there role.

at first I was like "*sigh*...". But on second thought, its actually pretty good. However, I do wonder: is he involved in mafia meetings at night? or is he like the quack in that sense? Secondly, can he talk to the guy he sent to the dinner?
