- Once per night, the hacker can learn the role of a selected person.
- Once a role is learned, its actions can be "downloaded" (copied) at any time for one full day and night.
- After a role is downloaded, it cannot be re-used or re-learned.
- Appears as mafia to cop because technically the hacker is participating in identity theft.
- The hacker only wins if they survive.
- Roles that can't be downloaded: Vanilla Villager/Mafia, Any conversion role (mason, etc...), Lover, Cthulhu, Treestump, Butterfly
- Does not participate in mafia meetings if copying the actions of a mafia role, nor do they gain a night kill unless copying Killer.
