How is it game related suicide if the game does not register it as a suicide, and it does not cause the game to go unranked?

How can it be GRS if the game remains ranked, and I knew that the game would remain ranked? The point of the GRS rule is to prevent players from turning the other team's victory into an incomplete game, not to prevent "Player X has committed suicide!" messages to appear.

It was a tricky situation. You left the game when sniper hadn't voted because you didn't want to wait 2 more seconds to get hammered. Idk why you are even arguing it was a clear cut GRS. It doesn't matter the game stayed ranked you left the game while getting lynched.

Yes, it is. You can't deny that it is quicker to exit the game directly than to self, wait for sniper to NL gun, and then exit the game. It was JFK, I wasn't going to wait around until the game ended after being D1'd.

It wasn't even "attempted" GRS. I knew the game wasn't going to go unranked, which is why I left it. It's quicker to exit the game than to self, wait for sniper to NL gun and then exit the game. I have done this in the past assumed it wasn't against the rules, and I have seen people get no vio for it. If you don't want people making use of this mechanic to exit the game more quickly, make the rule more explicit instead of handing out vios for rules that aren't anywhere on the site.
