I'm not sure which game you're referring to when you say I asked someone to suicide. If it's the game where Near said that he had to leave (I can't think of any other game -- but why it was unreasonable in this context is beyond me), then what would you have proposed? Near said he had to go. To self-vote would be gamethrowing since mafia can simply sheep his vote. To simply not vote and AFK would achieve the same end as suiciding. The only reasonable move there was for Near to suicide and give back the hearts to the people in the game since neither side had yet earned a legitimate win when he had to leave. Also, if you don't think the town that game was legitimately aweful, I encourage you to explain how any of their decisions made sense.
