Tell me, friend, what difference does it make to lynch the mafia on Day 1 rather than Day 2?

Lynching on Day 1 wasn't necessary at all, because the mafia was going to get lynched the next day anyway. It didn't matter which phase it was. The line of thinking with the NL was that mafia don't usually kill cop claims until their reports have been "confirmed", thus, if you had NL'd sooner and before mafia thought things over and realized it didn't matter, we might have been able to get another cop report. Even if that was a very slim chance, it was still better than lynching the mafia D1. Why don't you think this over more carefully before flipping out next time?
