You decide to selfshrink. Congrats, you are an idiot, because if you shrunk right, you do not know who the other mafia is and will probably still lose, and if you didn't shrink right, you actually lost it for the town. If you shrink someone else, you either shrink right and have a clear the next day, or you shrink wrong in which case the mafia wins. And, if you are yakked, you win. SO THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE in the chance town has except if you selfshrink right you don't have a clear to follow.
So you say you were trying to win it for town. But in reality, there is NO difference other than if you shrink someone else right, you actually have a clear.
So basically, selfshrinking = going to piss off the mafia, going to piss off the town, who don't have a clear, going to LOSE it for you.
