Now that we're getting a total of 10 alternate account slots, what if the ranked/competitive requirements were removed for alternate accounts linked to a main that already meets the requirements? Since mods can suspend/ban all linked accounts there shouldn't be an issue of people using their alts to GT. I think it would make alt accounts a lot more appealing to be able to go straight into comp or ranked with them instead of going through the 4 unranked/1,500 point requierments again.

Yeah, but if they do that they can already use the account they got to 1.5k in that round. Whichever account they use, the mods can ban all linked accounts and then they'd have to meet the requirements again.
I don't think it allows them easier access, since if they make a bunch of alts to GT they actually have to spend money on the site and then a mod can just suspend/ban all linked accounts and they'd need to do it all over again.
this is the way it used to be but was removed presumably because it allowed abc/game throwers easier access, but a 3-5k point requirement for alt access could be. okay. perchaps.
