Introduction

Welcome everyone to a new Sandbox Big Brother Season! This is Sandbox Big Brother 7! A new season!

In this season, we are accepting applications from everyone with the exception of the blacklisted players ( https://sbbb.fandom.com/wiki/Blacklist ) this means, both players who have never played before and players who did play before!

Explanation

This is a Big Brother game that will last for around 3 months and will be played over Discord.

I will explain the basics of the game in the first post of the thread rather than the OP as to not to go too long, but you can see some of it in this thread: https://epicmafia.com/topic/77354 (as this game will be heavily inspired by the Survivor Lobby one)

You should know that even though you will need a Discord account for this, its still a text-based game and you won't need to be on call or cam if you are not comfortable with it. Also, you can use an alternative Discord, but take in mind that daily activity will be demanded, so you will need to use it often.

While we are still looking for a mostly Sandbox playbase, we understand that a lot of Sandboxers who would be interested in this have already played in the past, and therefore we might need a more mixed cast than in other seasons.

The application date is from today until July 1st. The game will most likely start on July 7th and it will last for around 3 months, for those who make it to the final rounds.

Prizes

This season we will award the winner with $20 USD.

Additional prizes may or may not be added along the way.

We will also award a Sandbox Big Brother Trophy to the Final 3 players, if we ever get around doing the farming for both this and previous seasons.

For this season we are accepting both New Players and Returnees! Just make sure to mark the correct option in the form, as it is the same form for both newbies and returnees but they have different questions!

If you applied for a previous season but you were ultimately not cast, you must apply again.

It’s with great sadness that I’ve decided to withdraw for SBBB5 for quite a number of reasons. These stem from some of the dynamics in the house that have made me feel victimised, to the fact that SirAmelio is attacking my personal beliefs. I know this is pretty much a Mr M. Move but my personal mental health and physical health should come before the game.

The final 2 players will be judged by what we call The Jury, who are the players that got a certain placement, they will decide, who deserves to win, based in factors such as who played the best game and other stuff. The final 2 players will be giving a textual speech of why they deserve to win, explaining their game or strategies, and then the Jury will be able to ask them questions and see their answers, before they decide the votes. Obviously, the one that gets the most votes will win.

As you may have realized by now, this game is a lot about social interaction, psychological manipulation, as well as different skills for the different challenges. You will need allies and friends in order to remain in the game, and eliminate the people you would rather eliminate.

It's a game that will create drama in the house, and you will have to prove you are mentally strong enough to survive the whole game.

The game will take around 3 months, depending on the amount of participants and how active things are. Give or take a few weeks.

There will be some twists here and there but this is the basic for now.

I'd suggest reading some wiki articles on big brother strategies and stuff if it isn't clear, or just shoot me up a PM and i'll do my best to reply.

Explanation of the Big Brother game:

Note before explaining: When I say week it's not necessarily a full 7-days week, but an in-game week which will take 4-5-6 days usually.

ORG: Online Reality Games. it is basically an online simulation of the real life show. It will last for around 2-3 months like the real show, and the players will always be in the game interacting with one another 24/7, with no breaks in between.

The majority of the game will take place on Discord . So the house chat, the diary room chats, and all of the alliance chats will be through Discord.

We will have the Discord server open for anyone to spectate as well, link to be coming soon.

The game itself is based on Big Brother US.

It's a game in which the participants will pretend to be in a house living together. Every week there will be a challenge, that will determinate the Head of Household. This person will then pick two people who will be up for elimination. Afterwards, there will be another challenge for Power of Veto. Whoever wins this will be given the chance to save someone from the nomination or not. If someone was saved, the HoH will need to decide on another person that goes up. Afterwards, everyone in the house will vote to eliminate one of the two players, and the person with the most votes will be kicked out.
