Suggestion: Random Role

So, currently, we have a closed role option as a way to randomize roles, but the problem is that it affects all the roles of that alignment... this gives me an idea.

What if, we had an option for individual random roles? Look at https://epicmafia.com/setup/1179630 as an example. So with this new option, instead of making it a multi like it is currently, MafiaGod just marks the 2nd mafia role with this random role, and puts in the options of Hooker, Saboteur, Gramps, Driver, Actress, and Tailor.

Another example would be Fancy Pants. Instead of the setup being a multi, the creator can just choose this option, and put in the options of Doc, Bomb, Orc, or Gs.

Tell me what you think, do you think it is a good idea or not? Personally, I think it would add more options and creativity in setup making.

Would this be a good option/addition?

People barely play ranked on non-mainstream setups, therefore no.

the strength is that you can choose multiple roles, not just one

say you want the following options

cop/doc
cop/orc
cop/gs
doc/orc
doc/gs
orc/gs

and same for maf, lets say hooker/driver/gramps

it quickly becomes too much to put in multi and it's not really simple to understand even if you can.

Then make it a seperate role. Don't just remove / replace the original one.

yeah it could work but the examples you listed just have a difference of a single role which is already easily accomplished by the multi option, wheres the strength of this mode?

I already proposed that last time lucid came in, and i totally agree

it would revolutionize the game, you can have infinite scenarios of comp with [bluesx3]+[three town pr] vs [one nilla]+[two maf pr]

i lowkey hate the idiots who pushed for resurrection roles that are never used anywhere over this
