some usernames are virtually indistinguishable from one another because of the appearance of a capitalized "i" or lowercase "L".

unless i'm mistaken or this has already been proposed, this is probably the simplest fix to implement out of all the updates the website's received since its inception. if done correctly, staff no longer has to worry (as much) about enforcing an anti-impersonation rule, and users can rest easy knowing that their personal anime brands won't be infringed on.

• this would not mean replacing the site's current fonts, but rather adding more options for users to choose from
• you can choose to keep the default font if you wish
• users with different font settings will be able to tell if you are using a substitute letter for your username (i.e. "i" and "L" interchangeably)
