Simming Mafia

torikateover 7 years ago

Hello, everyone! It is torikate, and I love using random.org to randomize stuff, so I wondered. Heh! What would it be like if I made a mathematical equation to simulate a game of mafia, meeting by meeting? So, I decided to try it out first on GNH, and will try to evenly balance it out as much as possible. I want to sim some rounds and present it here below, however I want to be able to use real EM user's usernames. Thus, I am giving you guys the chance to enter the game. Post below saying you want to let your username be used and you'll be entered. That is all for now. Thanks!

EDIT: If you want a different color to be used for you, you can request it, preferably in the same post. Otherwise, I will choose for you. You cannot use an already used color. That is all

Well than! The first round has been filled! However you are allowed to still enter (as future simulations will be randomized tables I guess)

Yes indeed. I once did something like this for a sports match, and ran it testfully. It took me 8 hours just to finish the first half of the match. So much possibility!

Oh uh. Well, I'm at work rn so I can't check but so far as I remembered, there are more than 100 variations even before the shot on D1. Don't forget to take into account that we can't group the blues into a general possibility, and have to take them into account as separate people.

Hey I actually wrote the beginning of an equation for GnH awhile ago! However, I realized that some behaviours that drastically affects the numbers needed to be observed from a number of sample games, which is why I stopped working on it. For example, the likeliness of hook killing, shooting in blues, etc.

Anyway, sign me up
