When mimic visits mafia, they only self-visit.
When mimic visits town, they visit self and the town -> the game double checks the role of the visited and they make the "Role Box" to reappears. In the case of Mimic onto pr, the new box is the new role (which is blue because they got mimiced).
But when blue get mimiced.. the box reappears as villager seemingly for no reason. Blue can know if they got mimiced if their box was "reset".
That means the same way caroler can clear people if they claim to be caroled, mimic can clear blue if they claim to have their role box "reset",
ive been wanting to try the mimicing on blue this round to confirm the town but it has too many flaws 1)tracker needs to be on the mimic to see the report 2)a pr is prolly lost while doing that 3) the tracker isnt guaranteed to stay alive to out the report
well the box thing is obv a glitch but its nice to have a clear town if tracker was accidentally on mimic who visited n1 apart from that there's literally no better way to use it as its not worth losing a pr over it
imagine mimicked the dead drunk that wasn't janned, have tracker copypaste a visit report on him daystart, then gets lynched because he outed a visit on blue
this'll likely be fixed within the next 5-10 minutes, so just a warning to anyone thinking its optimal in order to create a clear or a mimic thinking they have confirmed mafia because a blue didn't out they saw their role box at day start
