Historically, most comp changes have been to make comp worse for the people that play it. Add to that the fact that changes that could have made comp better or pushed pointfarmers into comp have been rejected because comp isn't the vision Lucid has for this site.
You say this like the mods aren't the ones that no vio reports where people use this meta to throw games when they get frustrated as clear.
Their refusal to moderate these cases is what makes them so common. If they treated clears throwing games the same way they treated hipfiring, it wouldn't be so common.
I wish I could be back and play. But I am occupied. Played a few games yesterday and I figured I can't use the better word for crap or type in caps. The game isn't fun anymore. You can't be yourself anymore. And the noobs still don't understand logic. So we are handicapped. No logic. No appeal to emotion. I have adapted but it isn't what it used to be.
What did you guys do? Why are all the important words censored in games? Censoring in forums is fine. But the game needs to be pure. By pure I mean whatever people say. This game is not just logic. It also has emotions attached to it. If you filter out the emotions then you are tampering the game. If someone is willing to take the risk of getting punished for bad behaviour. It is on them. I think the fundamental issue is that mods give vios to some people and let others go for the same thing. Due to the terrible nature of mods, the games are infected. The truth is important in the game. This will only lead to bypassing of censors. Even yelling is not allowed now. You guys have handicapped the players. You guys have no idea how to solve a problem. You guys are just running away. Pretty soon some idiot will stop competitions because people cheat. If the mods were not biased and corrupt it wouldn't come to this.
Your argument is solid, but forcing the remnants of comp into the mediocrity that is pointfarming isn't the answer. I mean we could make our own friend circle, win trophies, remake all the comp setups with filibuster, comp them each round and see where that goes, but is that really a solution?
Yes, because the mods enforcing this meta for the 4th consecutive year is the answer to this problem.
