Just remove it..... I like seeing caps, it makes it fun, and after 7 years i don't wanna change how i decide to talk sometimes in games. At least make the filter an OPTION instead of randomly imposing it on active users... Not everybody hates caps enough for them to be eliminated completely
Don't fix what ain't broke, people have been fine here for over a decade already so I'm not sure why randomly this became a thing
Now we can't even say swears. Remove the filters for caps lock and swearing, and only filter hate speech.

it's hateful if you use it directed at a trans person, but afaik it's still a perfectly fine descriptive word for someone that actually fits the definition (identities as one binary gender, dresses as the other).

Can you consider using the PasteBin of the edited Blizzard list for this?
The Blizzard list has a lot of problems (words like vomit and fubar being filtered), but so does the list which you've already implemented for the forum filter (doesn't include slurs like the N-word). I edited the Blizzard one down to hate speech only.
Thanks for your consideration but people don't cap scream all the time when people don't listen to them. Sometimes they do, but not always. Again, you don't play games at all so I'm not sure how or why you think this. Using caps is part of the game.
The votes are 30-3, you should listen to your userbase and remove the caps filter.
P.S. I like the hate speech filter. GJ on that. Don't ban swears though
alright, i'll reconsider caps later this week ok? but the hate speech filter is definitely going to make it into the game
i'll also be adding full emoji support soon, so you can find other ways to express yourself than just cap screaming when people don't listen to you lol
One of the reasons I became attracted to the site was the experience of a try-hard trophy player trying seriously hard to win a competitive game by using caps lock to appeal to a clear in our game. To remove this would be damaging to your game -- trust me. Leave it alone

BTW people are immediately able to join games after suiciding or vegging making it impossible to dodge a someone intentionally GRSing out of games. Please put the 10 minute wait time back on for ranked games ty
