Stand in defense of Sinister Sundown and please don't let charley blacklist it. I don't see how anyone can play it, read the strats, and come to the conclusion it's a troll setup. The whole point of the setup is a vicious, unforgiving scumhunt where mafia has to cc the right roles and do some townhunting themselves. It's awesome and it's only because of trolls like Desultory that it has a bad name. If you wait for the illu shot, let yourself die as dep without shooting, and do other protown tactics, it's so balanced and fun.
Shame on you for destroying the progressive, creative spirit of the community that's supposed to be driving it forward. You want to stay in the past and disallow unique, balanced setups to flourish.

this setup sucks but if ur gonna allow other trash setups like jfk then this shouldn’t be blacklisted
now now carmen, don't badmouth revmaf just to get your setup out of the hook :doge: it has a more balanced winrate% than SS.
with that being said, blacklisting SS is dumb, "hipfire setup" is only said by people who just look at the roles and never actually played it.
-It's decent, a bit mafsided sure....but in a world where frontier justice 2 gets regularly comped, and thriller/jfk exist for fun, i don't see why this setup would be punished.
-There is potential for town dumb play, and so what? This round people comped memehunt, where there is a full blown pinned thread explaining people why you can get a GT vio if you try to lynch in threeway as only town with maf/killer, and 36 other scenarios, and pointing that showing this topic in a game isn't OGI....that's overly specific and tryhard. and this setup is COMPED. the only thing with SS is that if deputy shoots town first, then it's gg. this is WAY easier to understand, yet enough to blacklist the setup? please.
There are other popular setups where town can make really dumb plays yet the setup can still be played (mimic n1 in ddp, voting in paralyser setups...) and if a town fudges things up, it's his fault, end of story. Why can't it be the same?

You can't blacklist a setup just because you don't like it. It has hundreds of games played, plenty of fans who play it legitimately, and if you don't like it, just don't play it.
REVERSE MAFIA, which everyone admits is a pointfarm where you just sit around waiting to be converted is fine but this setup that actually makes you play and think is banned? Fuck charley for campaigning against a great standby setup that's not G&H.
