APPEAL -- A user shot one line into a game that involves guns, and because it involves guns it's not trolling or GT?? No, it's definitely both, and he's done this multiple games. Sinister Sundown deserves better than this. https://epicmafia.com/report/256253

Sinister Sundown, one of the most fun and interesting setups of our day

Extremely balanced if you play it right, it's definitely harder for town to win than something like GNH but it makes you think a lot harder.

I think we're going to have a discussion about the setup. I personally feel hipfiring should never be a valid strategy.

At the moment I'm going to also vote to OT to trolling due to: https://i.imgur.com/ERh23Bb.png https://i.imgur.com/OVwoOdi.png

Shooting before illusionist is one thing, however, shooting before anyone has spoken with the intent to hipfire is another.

The set up is a troll set up and should be blacklisted

It's not flawed at all, and in fact the very POINT is that if deputy shoots wrong, it's game over. Town doesn't get a miskill. Not every gun = miskill. Deputies need to be smart and responsible in this GREAT setup, and no that's not being unreasonable.

Vote to OT to Trolling. Hipfiring is considered trolling especially when it's done without any valid reads

You legitimately expect a setup in which 3 players have guns at day start to be a scum hunting setup? I don't think it's a good precedent to punish people for not following your strategy. It's a highly flawed setup in which if one deputy shoots wrong, it's a mafia win.

It's highly suboptimal for dep to shoot anyone before illu - no one can claim yet and deputy has a 3/5 chance to hit town. The setup is played by waiting for the illu shot, then massclaiming and shooting/lynching in ccs. Even if orc is N1d and reveals deputy, that deputy LETS themselves be shot by the illu. They do not shoot before illu, whatsoever.

It's optimal to wait for mafia and that's how the setup is played; I know mods don't take SS very seriously considering you've tried to blacklist it twice - but it's a legitimate setup that has a strategy and an optimal way to win it as deputy/town. Shooting line one is actively going against your wincon, and I EXPECT people to follow the optimal strat regardless of the amount of guns. Hipfire has a 3/5 chance of autoloss, and that's exactly what happened here.

Set a good precedent and give this user, and anyone else who hipfires in this magnificent scumhunting setup, a vio.

I mean, a deputy would want to shoot the illusionist before they are able to shoot town. I don't see how we should punish someone for shooting before mafia shoots them.

I'm not sure what you expect out of a setup with 3 guns at daystart.
