Buzzword mania in the sjw world

about 6 years

Okay wtf is cultural appropriation?

Wtf is internalized mysogeny?

Wtf is the patriarchal society?

And what in the world is digital blackface?

Why are there over 300 Tumblr-approved genders that are solely based on vague personality traits than anything else?

With those 300 genders, why is it that the transgender surgery is mtf or ftm, implying there is only two genders?

If women are so strong, why do they feel like it is impossible to be within a healthy weight range or moderately attractive to comply with men's standards, and then act like it is easy for men to be muscled, tanned, strong, caring, nice, funny, smart, a badass, good with children, and able to accommodate any request at any moment for his woman?

Why do females get so concerned that same job≠same pay, but refuse to believe that the same work should equal the same pay?

Lionel you can choose to express yourself however you want, but the odds that you came up with something original on your own that matches something from another culture is very very low. Likely you've had unconscious influence at one point, leading up to that. For example: "I want to wear dreadlocks." However, that's because a lot of people wear dreadlocks already, so it's not entirely your own idea. If it really is an original idea, then you can just explain it as an exception.

Melanin is not culturally limited. I don't understand how getting sunburned has to do with taking something culturally significant from a culture without permission, and using it in a way that isn't its intended use.

really cool how different people have different problems and concerns due to their differences! =)

really it's not something you n your crowd need to be worrying about. there truly aren't over 300 ultra specific genders. everyone expresses themselves differently and all those mogai labels do more harm than good. there are not only 2 genders tho (:

mogai=Marginalized Orientations, Gender identities, And Intersex (google is free btw)

two large issues here. people try to stretch marginalized to mean basically anything other than heterosexual sex between two heterosexual monogamous cis partners for the sake of getting pregnant. there are really things in the alleged ace spectrum for having sex for things other than procreation. then the kinksters trying to worm in.
number 2 is the inclusion of intersex. actual intersex people do not want to be lumped with lgbt people and rightfully so. it's a physical disorder, far from the same as transsexuality.
mogai ppl don't necessarily have any malicious intent with any of this. but all this bullshīt opens the door for cishets to get in lgbt spaces ... while not being lesbian or gay or bi or trans.

species and age aren't comparable to gender or sexuality so very invalid example. age is a measure of time since your birth. not really something you can do anything reasonable about. now there are people who age regress mentally BUT it's not an issue of identity and it's usually a result of psychological n physical trauma so it's not even in the same ball park as lgbt.
species? honestly who cares. furries exist and they're just fun to clown. otherkin is borderline furryism too but it's often a coping tool for trauma so again not the same ball park.

some of those sexualities def stem from trauma too so that's more reason it shouldn't be grouped with lgbt

asexuality is what it sounds like. but then there's things like demisexuality (you experience attraction only after getting a close bond with someone) ....... and the mogai hell bullshït. like for example only feeling attraction if your feelings aren't reciprocated. this obviously has nothing to do with being lesbian or gay or bi (notice that all of this involves liking your own gender). they also have the split attraction model - sexual (physical) and romantic (emotional) attraction being treated separately. welcome aromantic, biromantic, etc etc.
cis straight people can easily describe themselves with these kinds of terms. cis straight people aren't discriminated against for being cis and straight. neither are asexual people nor obviously the wacky mogai identities

sunburn???? are you stupid? what the hell does sunburn have to do with culture or appropriation???

you know what misogyny means yeah? it's not """sad for no reason""".

i'm an active tumblr user and certified special snowflake degenerate so i can personally assure you all your presumptions are wrong and i've seen that list ages ago anyway. the shït on that list? it's mogai identities, not normal lgbt identities. i guess technically some of it could fall under nonbinary ? but mogai's purpose is to put a label on every possible feeling you could have. these ppl forget that your mental and emotional state isn't static and tbh downplays dysphoria. how could a person recognize their dysphoria if the mogai community tells them they can just use a fresh new label?
there's people who for whatever reason think kink and fetish should be under the sane umbrella (bc apparently being gay or trans is the exact same as liking watersports :megathinking:). obvious that cis and straight people can easily opt in with this.
then there's asexuality which is way more relevant to the actual lgbt community than just mogai, though there's still overlap with mogai with the whole ace spectrum thing

also mogai genders n sexualities are as far as i know very exclusive to tumblr (n maybe a few other sites bc of a handful of individual creators) so it's not at fückall reflective of your run of the mill lgbt ppl. real unfortunate whenever you see ~anti-sjws~ being blissfully unaware of that

I know that gay isn't a gender. Or is there something else I am missing?

ulmaridae says

there's also some nonsense that basically lets cis/hetero ppl call themselves lgbt. and other shït that is ultimately damaging to someone who's trying to figure themselves out (like weird roundabout language instead of figuring out n accepting you're say lesbian or the jank äss genders instead of understanding that you're just trans)

if you let some people identify as something, why is it offensive to not let others identify as something?

so let's say for this: I identify as a purple 359288200 year old pigeon. Am I not allowed to say that then, since there are other people being conflicted? Or am I just allowed to say that, be accepted, and not have to deal with **human** responsibilities at all?

ulmaridae says

internalized misogyny - misogynistic ideas that a woman unintentionally absorbs. kind of like self-hatred but not necessarily hatred. like internalized homophobia or transphobia. generally comes with a layer or two of unhappiness

So basically they are sad for no reason?

ulmaridae says

patriarchial society - use dictionary.com

Yeah thanks. Really clears it up, especially since I wanted a search engine to tell me rather than someone who believes in the concept.

ulmaridae says

digital blackface - never heard of this one. i'm guessing white guys who roleplay as black people to have an excuse to say the n word and be generally racist

actually, it is described as "cultural appropriation" where white people use gifs of black people such as Oprah, Serena Williams, or Michael Jackson, and ir says that white people are trying to "act cool with the blacks" or make "reparations" or something. it is also when you accidentally set yellow emojis to black, and you yourself aren't black. The BBC network actually made a video about this.

ulmaridae says

these over 300 so-called genders are under the general category of mogai which is supposed to be some Woke™ ultra inclusive acronym. i myself don't understand why ppl who associate themselves with mogai instead of lgbt do this xenogender (they actually call it that lmao) nonsense. usually they back it up with young ppl exploring and questioning their identity. but when you're coining some new gender that's like based on the moon (whatever that even means) as opposed to like normal nonbinary genders (ya know no association with being a cis man or woman) ... yeah no

literally look up this list. it is more about vague personality traits rather than gender, and it completely defeats the purpose of it being about gender.

TownOfSalemRox says

Cultural appropriation is when a culture produces something, like Headdresses from Native Americans, that is considered important because of given reasons that make it important only in the context of the culture. When others take those headdresses and say "Look at how hot it makes me", that's disrespecting the original intent of such headdress. It's slightly similar to forcing Native Americans to cut their hair, because you're taking something that they hold sacred and important, and reducing its importance.

Now, that does not mean that cutting your own hair is disrespecting Native Americans. They must acknowledge that hair is not something that their culture produced, and is not something that can be only limited to their culture.

Nor does it mean that using products invented in another country is cultural appropriation either.

Let's take this into the form of religion. If someone has communion wafers, but you're not Catholic, it's not right for you to just reach into the bowl and eat them because they taste good. Similar to that, it's not ok for you to just take Native Americans' Chief Headdresses and wear them because they "look cool".

Well I explained one of them I hope.

so people of color should be offended if I get sunburned? And I shouldn't be able to express myself however I want because some other culture from 300 years ago stole my idea?
