It's 1:20am in Italy. This is my first time travelling outside NA. I'm ultra jetlagged, it's my first night here but I already spent a day here.
I'm feeling symptoms of anxiety and I don't really know why; I don't normally have anxiety. I had to leave my hotel room and just go to the lobby where there's light since I'm sharing a room with my brother.
I can't sleep at all even though I've had just 2 hours of sleep in the past 48, and I don't feel the best physically either, and kinda just want someone to talk to
woah i'm going to italy in a few days too!! maybe we will unknowingly consume ristrettos adjacent to each other. i am pretty nervous too but the food will make it all worthwhile : D. are u going to be up north at all?
If you're seeing the Colloseum (which you definitely should) don't go during daylight hours. They do special night-tours all around the stadium (which is where you usually are) but also down on the arena and below it. It caps at 25 people so it's never too much of a hassle but it's definitely worth booking so that it's only your fam and the guide.
I've always wanted to go there. What attractions are you seeing?
today was venice, tmrw (i guess today in italy time) is verona, then after that we are renting a car in florence and driving to various spots. we finish in rome for a day or two, total trip time is just 9 days
i think we're gonna see major basilicas, coliseums, leaning tower of piza, and some other stuff i cant fully remember rn
