How do I link an account I created?

So I'm trying to link an account that I created which has an alt. I would like to be able to connect both of them to my account, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there was a way to do this?

(Note, I have messaged a mod and am currently waiting for a response)

Delete the alt and then just remake it after you link the other, what's the big deal.
