If we can make comp a real competition, I could agree to that (which is horrendously stupid).

guyfawkes85's main strategy while playing is to reset the timer over and over to drag the day out the full 10 minutes when someone is about to veg and is suddenly trying to make competitive more Serious like he's gonna put his wr every round on his resume
Competitive games are a huge minority to red heart setups like guns and hookers and reverse mafia.
I also don't think your suggestion would work at all because of the lack of players. There aren't enough people online at all times to fill games with 30k/40k points.
I don't think any mod plays their games and mods reports from their same games a lot either.
Your thread lacks any form of evidence and it's all major speculation and untrue
@introverted A dying userbase needs an enjoyable game (and competition), or it will keep leaving (and the site dying). That's why all the players who were in Comp Lobby aren't playing anymore, and why the userbase keeps lowering and lowering.
@Ally I think you didn't notice the OP refers only to COMP, not to all games.

i think you're forgetting that this site, despite having a competitive feature, is a Game for Fun and you're pretty much suggesting we put ridiculous limitations and suck the actual fun out of mafia
if you're looking for something TRULY competitive i would recommend searching elsewhere
@introverted what a website with a dying userbase needs is a competition that is REALLY competitive, and not just in the name, or noone will enjoy it and will keep leaving (and the site will keep dying).
As mentioned in the OP, there would certainly be less ALTS playing (that's the idea), but the QUALITY would rise A LOT (which is the point).
1. Entrance points way higher to avoid any random noob join comp 2. Only ONE alt per player is to avoid the Andorra + Andorra + Andorra + Andorra vs Brazil scenario (who has more alts wins, and not who plays better) 3. 10 games top with each other player (2 days of comp), should be evident, to avoid meta abuse 4. 2 game related vio's (or notes) during the round and you're out (like now, not sure if notes count) - already works, just add notes if it's not like that. 5. A dedicated mod team (a task force for the round reports), to avoid mod abuse and ambiguity (mods playing and modding the reports)
Also, the rules should be updated with all the non-written rules. If some part of the rules isn't clear, should be clarified and so on.
@Bebop Unfortunately mods/admins don't care about comp being really competitive, I don't have too much hope, but it's always the last thing to die, they say.
@gabsventure I didn't even check, like I told you in that game (don't have the number or I'd paste it here) from the 10 in the top 10 this round, about 3-4 deserve to be there.
@Poolsidejazz ?
@Ally If those were enforced, competitive would finally be COMPETITIVE. Obviously it would have less players.
