Do all pedophiles deserve death?

Children are seen as the epitome of innocence which is why we get so upset at the thought of harm ever coming to them.

Pedophiles are seen as potential dangers to children, which is why they are seen as one of the most disgusting and hated people on the planet.

But I believe there is a fine line between active predators, and people who realize this is a sick mental disorder and seek help for it.

I think it's too late for offending pedophiles, but I believe we should treat pedophilia in general as a mental disorder.

the only way you find a child sexually appealing is if you're drawn to the power dynamic and abusive reality that exists within sexualization of children. there's no "good" pedophile. all pedophiles get off to the idea of victimizing children, and thus are morally irredeemable.

It's disgusting and immoral to be an active pedophile. If someone's inactive I have nothing but immense respect for them; they repressed a core part of your brain, a fetish they never chose / would rather have a better one. If they want to indulge, they can find pics of it online and no one is getting hurt.

"people are BORN attracted to children and it's not a conscious choice" is just as stupid as saying "people are BORN attracted to the elderly instead of just seeing a population of people who often times lack the resources to resist predators and are easily intimidated/physically overpowered".

idk i mean im not a pedophile so i dont really get it but i also feel like pedophilia is never like really a choice? idk if that makes sense im tired but like i feel like a lot of people dont *choose* to want to like want to do that? like most predators realize it's wrong. or at least i hope!
