I literally say in the report that letting people say whatever just because their part of the group isn’t a viable solution, Giga. It’s frustrating to see you constantly have something to say about me when now twice in this thread I’ve agreed with you and you’re still being negative and saying rude things and then deleting them.
I just don’t get why you seem out opportunities to talk about me when you can just not. I’m not interested in constant issues with you. So just find someone else to talk about honestly
as much as you might like to think that my general point is about you, it's not, it's about precedence for no-no words on this website. it should be either everybody is allowed to say them all the time, regardless of context (i don't think this is the right choice), or nobody is (i think this is the right choice). otherwise you get mess after mess regarding these types of words. if they're banned, no one should be saying them. but that's just me

I've been on this site for eight years. Not as consistently as everyone else, but through a lot of mod teams. I've had a few bios, plenty of reports, several notes.
I have never, not once, PMd a mod abusively, or screaming at them, or reacted in the way users have to simple enquiries in the past few days.
When the userbase of this site stop acting like feral children in response to my offers of a conversation, I'll consider discussing my decisions with them.
Ironically, Pranay is probably the only user who has PMd me in a genuinely polite manner to ask for clarification on something. And weirdly enough, it worked.

that's literally the point. i'm sure it wouldn't kill u to look at the comments and see he's saying dyke should be allowed to use that as his username since he's gay just like jeff should be allowed to say f/g since he's gay and wasn't using it hatefully or toward anyone
Only way to stop hate speech is to make everyone grow up and get over a couple of names. Take it w/ a grain of salt and move on.
The idea is that we burn down the walls and rebuild everything better. At this rate we're going down a narrow path to more and more things being off limits and offensive.
yeah lets go back to when everybody called each other the n word, that'll go right in line with our goals of trying to eliminate hate speech and creating a better environment for site users

I say make no words off limits. Take away the power of the words by removing the stupid gate around them. Besides, it's just a couple of words w/ meanings that only offend you because others told you they should.
