I will be answering questions about myself, my opinions, or other odd queries that are brought up.

Warning: there is a 95% chance I will be honest, so don't ask questions that you may not want the answer to

I'll also try to keep this thread somewhat updated with content to arouse your interests as well.

Happy browsing.

Main lobby or Survivor lobby? Which is more demanding?

A thorough answer would be positively regarded.

A comparison, for example, that makes sense, would be a Trophy Game for Survivor and a yellow heart trophy race for main.

This is what the games are like when I play on this account (note: the pregame was about 12 minutes and I hadn't talked yet)

Minos sleeping: to him enter the Phantasm of Euclid. Minos opens his eyes and regards him with a blank and stony gaze, without betraying the slightest surprise or even interest.

Watch it ASAP! I didn’t think Park-Chan Wook could have me shook again after Oldboy but Jesus he really kills it with Handmaiden. It honestly makes Gone Girl look bad

omg i second this!!!! i love the handmaiden, it's an amazing movie and the plot twists are shookething. you need to watch it

Lmao yeah, that's certainly true. I imagine it's because the former are drawn to it because it's easier to use and a bit detached from the silly ratings on and imagined when discussing other sites like IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes.

The people on letterboxd just honestly have such better taste than the people on IMDb

oh gosh that's something i should probably make but lord that seems like an effort

It's actually a lot easier than it first appears. You can do like I do and leave your profile extremely barebones wwith just a list of things you've watched and a rating. On the flipside though Basil here has gone a bit above that and writes reviews and dates his viewings.

A friend of mine has full on gigantic reviews for a ton of obscure, even for my taste, films, and it's very cool stuff

I am DYING to see Killing of a Sacred Deer because I love The Lobster. Yorgos Lanthimos is such a genius

Have you gotten around to 3 billboards outside ebbing Missouri? That’s my favorite movie of the year, nobody does dark comedy like McDonaugh

Yeah it's amazing, I loved The Lobster too and that's what turned me onto his work!

I haven't seen it yet, just haven't gotten around to it. I'm a big fan of dark humor so I'm sure that I'll love it.

certainly looks intriguing

also since I just watched it recently and can’t get over this movie: ever seen The Handmaiden (2016)?

I haven't! It's been on my watch list for months and I've been meaning to, but always been side tracked and just forget about it. I'll push it up to the top though

Also, if you're into more artistic and experimental film pieces I'd highly recommend The Exquisite Corpus

I’m also excited to see mother and curious about the audience polarization it’s been causing, I mean, Arronofsky is a king at his craft

Long time no chat man, glad to see you back!

This is an EXTREMELY difficult question and I could probably write for hours about this so I'll try and keep it really simple and just list a short top 5 varied list of movies that I enjoyed. Disclaimer: these are not in any particular order nor are they my absolute favorite movies or the 'best', just a quick sample

1. The Killing of Sacred Deer

2. Mother!

3. Get Out

4. I, Olga

5. Logan Lucky

I've asked a few people here and there for opinions, but I supposed this might be a better place to get something actually down so I don't forget

what seasons of big brother/survivor would you recommend for me to watch as someone that hasn't watched a complete season before?

also, if anyone else out there wants to watch one with me sometime soon, I would love to have a partner to get through a season with

i'm more than happy to watch with you buddy

BB: 10, 12, 16. all newbie seasons, featuring some of the best winners/alliances of all time IMO.

survivor: pearl islands, cagayan, tocantins, kaoh rong, or this current season imo. those are one's that would be a good start for a new watcher, all newbie seasons with some fantastic gameplay and characters

Awesome! I'll msg you on Skype sometime and let's set something up
