Zombie/Bulletproof bug

Can someone explain what happened this game? Zombies were unable to vote who they wanted to infect on Night 3, and Mafia hit a Zombie but it showed up as a vest hit even though the Zombie was no longer a Bulletproof?

If you're BP you still have a vest even if you get converted to another role
That happens with cult too?

yes, if bp is culted they still retain their vest

it's like if sheriff is culted or zombied or w/e, they still get to keep their sheriff gun
