I caught up with the same friend a couple of days ago and he told me that the dogs had been surrendered, because they had another fight, but this time they put three people in hospital when they tried to break them up. Idk why i'm writing about this except because it's been on my mind. When it was just me there, i was alone and easily could have ended up in the same position or worse. I have this weird appreciation for the fact that i didn't get really hurt or die or something because that was apparently a realistic outcome given what happened after if that makes sense?

So a year or two ago i was dogsitting for my best mate, he had two beautiful dogs, they were both really big and just the loveliest dogs ever. Anyway one day i fed them and the bigger dog finished his food first and went over to investigate the other dogs bowl. The other dog got SUPER defensive and they both ended up in a huge fight. It was really awful and there was a lot of blood and everything. I ended up putting myself in the middle of them to stop them from killing one another which in hindsight was a pretty stupid thing to do. The larger dog ended up needing surgery for his injuries and it was a pretty traumatising ordeal.
