This is a really interesting question that I always ask people because they usually tend to have a preference for either male or female singing voices. I am keen to know the reasons why, as in my experience they don't always align with (what one may assume at the beginning) sexual attraction.
I definitely prefer female vocals, and the male singers who I do like tend to sing at a higher pitch. I think i just prefer higher voices i guess? who knows
I was about to say I have no preference and then I remembered every modern male singer that sounds like he's whining at me through the speakers that make so many bands unlistenable by me and I've never had that problem with a female vocalist so,
i can definitely appreciate female singers, i'm a fan of björk, angela grace-foster and others in that sort of area, but the genres i enjoy most are predominantly male, but that's not to say listening to those has given me a preference towards them, it's always the whole musical package rather than just the vocals that i go for, so if that all feels good then i can enjoy it
Personally I only get touched female vocals; male voices have no effect on me. This only seems weird to me because it is quite common among people I meet who are attracted to a particular sex to be able to differentiate between voices they find attractive or not in that sex which I can't do. Maybe this just means I'm not an aural person if you know what I mean, OR,
like Bebop put it I suppose it has a lot to do with what kind of music you listen to (i.e. if you don't listen to male singers maybe you can't appreciate the beauty of their voice?) I wonder if this can result in a cycle, for example you listen to a genre dominated by men, as a consequence developing an affinity for it and are therefore only able to like n e w genres if they're male dominated as well (not necessarily genres but singers).

neither since i just fry my brain listening to aphex all day
When I was younger I always listened to female singers but I feel like most of the genres that I enjoy are primarily male singers probably because I enjoy voices more in the tenory baritone range

for the majority of my life like from when i was younger up until a little bit ago i always preferred female voices. i think part of it has to do with that im a singer myself and like to sing along to things which is harder to do if a man is singing because men and women have different styles or whatever. but also something i find interesting is that this preference extends to any media that involves more women than men. if something lacks women for some reason i wasn't really able to enjoy it. i never have been able to understand why. i've broadened my horizons but i think for the most part i still sort of stick to this. HOWEVER, going along with what User Bebop said, the genres of music i listen to now are more male-dominant so i listen to more male vocalists than female despite the underlying preference
